How to read Text from Image

Microsoft Office OneNote has a built in OCR (Optical Character Recognition) which can recognize text in images accurately if ithe text is not so complex or obfuscated. All you need to do is the following.

  • Open Microsoft OneNote
  • Drag an image that contains text into the One Note window.
  • Rightclick on the image and select "COPY TEXT FROM PICTURE".
  • That's it. The text is copied to clipboard.
  • Now open any text editor say Notepad and paste the content.

OneNote is a very useful OCR tool, and can help you capture text from just about anything.
